SPECIFICATION : -

SKN :- Oil Circuit Breakers type : ‘S’ have been designed for use on system voltage upto 415, A.C. and for a maximum current rating of 1250 AMPS. These are manufactured in both. “ NON DRAWOUT” as well as “HORIZONTAL DRAWOUT” pattern and conform to I.S.S.2516- 1965 . The switchgears are of robust construction and suitable for Industrial use. The Oil Circuit breakers are subject to severe routine tests thereby rendering troublefree service. These are suitable for both wall mounting as well as floor mounting and necessary holes are provided at the back of the product and have two breaks per phase. The breakers are fitted with emergency manual trip and an interlock is fitted to prevent the tank being removed when the breaker is “ON”

PROTECTIONS :- The type. ‘S1’ Oil Circuit Breakers up to 200 Amps are provided with series wound trip coils calibrated for 100% to 200% with adjustable Oil Dashpot Time Lags 0-20 seconds. Type S2 & S3 Oil Circuit Brakers up to 200 Amps are provide with series wound trip coils calibrated for 100% to 200% with adjustable Oil Dashpot Time Lags 0-20 Seconds. Type S2 & S3 Oil Circuit Breakers are fitted with Trip Coils operated from current transformers and are shunted with time limit fuses . adjustable oil dash pot time lags calibrated 0-20 seconds are provided on the breakers. These are also provided with contacts of V-Bar type and easily removable fixed finger and arcing contacts made out of 99.9% electrolytic pure copper duly silver plated.

AC CONTRACTORS TYPE :- BSH – 16, 25 & 40 Amps.

SKN :- Contractor perform the main switching function in a  starter. Their coils have been specially designed for an insulation voltage of 660V and are capable of withstanding wide voltage fluctuations. Commonly experienced   in rural are as . The contractor are capable of   operating in wide range of ambient temperature. Contactors have been designed to ensure absolutely bounce free operation. This feature not only provides a very high mechanical life of over 20 million operations but also enhances its breaking and making capabilities.
