We offer paint driers in various
concentration from their sophisticated plant having stringent quality
control measures. These dries are added to coating to bring about a
physical change from liquid to solid state in a reasonable time. Following
is a summary of the performance and properties of our range of:
Lead: We offer lead in various concentration such as 36 %, 32 %,
24 %, 18 % , which is an important auxiliary drier. Lead functions as a
powerful drier and is used in conjunction with other driers. It can be
used in between 0.35 to 0.5 % metal based on vehicle solid.
Cobalt: We offer cobalt in the concentration of 2 %. It is
usually added at 0.005 to 0.04% based on vehicle solids. Cobalt is the
most active top driers & used in conjunction with auxiliary driers
like lead.
Manganese: Our company also offer manganese which is active
driers promotes polymerization to a greater degree than Cobalt. The use
level is 0.01- 0.1% manganese based on vehicle solids.
Iron: Our iron paint drier promotes rapid drying by
polymerization and it is used in variety of (baking) finishes where dark
color is permissible. The normal use level is 0.05 to 0.25% of metal.
Cerium: The cerium is recommended for baking finishes
particularly for whites and over print varnishes where color retention
is vital. It is particularly useful with alkyi and epoxy resins.
Calcium: Calcium is an auxiliary drier and is used both in
combination with lead. The use levels of calcium varies from 0.02 to
0.2% of the metal based on vehicle solids, proofing and fungicidal
agents.
Zirconium: We offer zirconium, which is used in combination with
cobalt or calcium. Zirconium use levels are 0.03 to 0.2% of the metal.
It is widely accepted substitute for lead driers in non toxic systems.
PVC Stabilizers
We offer PVC stabilizers, which are
added to PVC compounds to prevent degradation of PVC while processing.
Main metals whose salts are used as stabilizers are lead, barium, cadmium,
zinc, calcium and tin. Some of our stabilizers are:
Stabilizer a-1: Stabilizer a-1 is a high efficiency
barium-cadmium based complex liquid stabilizer.

Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Accelerators
We offer FRP Accelerator, which is
highly active oxidizing material suspended in a liquid carrier used to
accelerate the decomposition of peroxide catalysts into highly reactive
free radicals. These free radicals react readily with polymer and monomer
molecules to cure a thermoset resin. Such as diethylaniline,
dimethylaniline, cobalt naphthanate, and cobalt octoate.

We develop a concentrated cobalt based product called cobalt a-24. This is
a very economic product as it can be used at a dosage of ½ the quantity of
cobalt 12% and ¼ the quantity of cobalt octoate 6 %. It is a proven
product and being used as an economic product by small and medium scale
paint companies. It is specially used in varnish, as it imparts no color
of cobalt and it gives very good clarity to varnish. The applications are:
As a drier in paint, varnish & alkyd resin and as an accelerator in
FRP resin & rubber product.

Lead
We Offer Lead Having Wide Ranges Of
Applications. It Can Be Offered In MTO, DOP And Any Other Base Oils As Per

Lead Naphthenate 18%, 24% In MTO Is Used As Driers In Paints And
Varnishes Separately And In Combination With Cobalt And Manganese. It Is
Also Used In Foundry Chemicals.
Lead Naphthenate In MTO Is Used In PVC Stabilizer.
Lead Naphthenate 18% In Base Oil Is Used As Lube Additive.
It Reduces The Exhaust Gas Pollution.
Lead Naphthenate 18% In Dop Is Used In Cable Industries.
Leadnaphthenate 30% In Base Oil Is Used With Manganese Naphthenate
In The Manufacture Of Some Special Type Of Resins Which Goes In Products
Like Coal Tar.

Strong, Humidity Resistant, Heat Cured Urethane Adhesives Are
Prepared With Lead Napthenate
Lead Napthenate Is Used As A Catalyst For Reaction Between
Unsaturated Fatty Acids And Sulphates In Presence Of Air. Lead Soaps
Catalyze Vulcanization And Thus Decreases Curing Time.
Cobalt Octoate / Naphthenate
We offer cobalt octoate /
naphthenate, which is mainly used as drier in paint industry. It is having
wide range of applications. We make tailor made cobalt products per
customers requirements. The applications are:
As a Drier: Cobalt Octoate /Naphthenate is the most active Drier
in paint Industry. Cobalt is also used in combination 11as a drier in
printing.
As a Catalyst: Cobalt Octoate / Naphthenate is used as a
catalyst in the production of caprolactum, DMT, Benzoic Acid and Tere-
Phthalic Acid, Liquid phase oxidation of isopropeylbenzoic and tetra
hydro Naphthenate. Oxidation of cumine and tetralin.
As an Accelerator: Cobalt soaps are widely used as accelators
for peroxide initiated curing of unsaturated polyesters. It is used as
an accelerator in F.R.P.
As Rubber Additive: Cobalt Naphthen ate modifier increases the
strength of bond of the rubber with steel cord in the production of
radial type tyres. Cobalt soaps reduces damage to tyres during sudden
deflation.
As Fuel Additive: Cobalt Naphthenate increases the thermal yield
and decreases exhaust grease of heavy petroleum fuels.
As Grease Additive: Oil based Cobalt Soaps is also used in
lubricating greases having extreme pressure properties.
Copper Naphthenate
We offer copper naphthenate of
various concentration with the best possible technology. The applications
are:
As an Insecticide: Copper naphthenate is used extensively in
textile rot proofing and to prevent dry rot and mildew in timber. As a
strong insecticide it provides a permanent protection against ambrosia,
beetle, termites and all other noxious insects attacking timber.
Textile: Copper napthenate may be applied to textile fabric
either by dipping or sprayingand the most complete and durable
protection is obtained when the fabric after drying retains about 1%
copper determined as metal, the copper napthenate solution for this
purpose should normally contain from 2-2.5% copper as
metal.
As Wood Preservative: Copper napthenate solution is used as wood
preservative and may be applied to timber either by dipping spraying,
brushing or impregnation desired. The timber so treated should be as dry
as possible.
In Anti fouling Paints: In anti flouring paints for ships bottom
copper naphtenate serves wholly for lethal purpose as in the presence of
sea water the slow hydrolysis of copper naphtenate produces copper
hydroxide and napthenic acid both of which are actively toxic.
As Fungicide: Metallic soap of copper is fungicidal and extends
the life of wood and cellulosic fibers. They are usually applied in
petroleum solvent as ammonium complex of copper naphthenate in aqueous
solution. The insoluble soap remains on fibers following solvent
evaporation.
As Fuel Additive: Copper Naphthenate along with Manganese
naphthenate is used in fireside chemicals, copper naphthenate prevents
deposits in furnaces and burners fired with coal or heavy oil.
Manganese
Another active driers promotes
polymerization to a greater degree than Cobalt. It is often used alone in
baking finishes and in combination with Lead and Cobalt in air dry
application.use level is 0.01- 0.1% Manganese based on vehicle solids. For
hard and desirable finishes, Manganese is a suitable drier. It is also
used as a polymerization catalyst for water systems. Along with copper
naphthenate, Manganese is used in fungicide chemicals.
Iron
It promotes rapid drying by
polymerization and it is used in variety of (baking) finishes where dark
colour is permissible. It is used as drier for baking enamel and paint. It
is also used as a binder for hard board. The normal use level is 0.05 to
0.25% of metal.
Zirconium
It is an auxiliary drier used in
combination with Cobalt or Calcium. it is widely accepted substitute for
Lead driers in non toxic systems. Its functions mainly by its catalytic
activity on drier metals such as Cobalt and Manganese, the impetus for
increased use of Zirconium is environmental regulations restricting use of
Lead. Gloss and colour retention drying time, flexibility, and surface
characteristics are improved by Zirconium use levels are 0.03 to 0.2% of
the metal . Zirconium in its concentrated form is an auxiliary drier for
high viscosity paints and printing inks.

used both in combination with lead and as a partial replacement to lead in
vehicles that show poor tolerance for lead. Calcium improves drying
efficiency at low, temperature and high humidity. use levels of Calcium
varies from 0.02 to 0.2% of the metal based on vehicle solids, proofing
and fungicidal agents.
